The Sacral Chakra is thought to hold the sacred waters of life.  This energetic center signifies polarity and brings together both the feminine and masculine energies. The sacral chakra is called Svadhisthana and “sva” means self and “adhishthana” means established.  Orange is the primary color of the sacral chakra and it evokes a bright and creative state. When the sacral chakra is under-active you may avoid expressing your emotions. You may also feel denial or lack of intimate bonds with others.  If you are experiencing an overreative sacral chakra, you may experience emotional instability.  Symptoms of excess energy may present itself as over-indulgence, aggression, or arrogance.  When the sacral chakra is balanced, you will feel present in your body and you will feel supported in establishing deeper connection with self and others.
