The Throat Chakra is about expression in all forms.  This chakra’s element is ether because it connects you to realms of higher consciousness and it is the center to inspire our creative expression.  The throat chakra is called Vishuddha which means purity.  The color representing the throat chakra is blue.  When under-active, the throat chakra can cause challenges with introversion and insecurities preventing you from speaking your truth. If overactive one might see communication breakdowns or lack of control over speech.  You may become hyper-critical of self which can lead to the blocking of ideas and flow.  When balanced you are an open and authentic communicator.  If your throat chakra is balanced you will more easily be able to bring your creations to fruition.  Creativity is the name of the game with this chakra.
